The team at Splash are delighted to announce the launch of the brand new Bee for Battens website. Splash are proud to be associated with this great Charity as media sponsor. The focus of the site was to highlight the amazing work that takes place in fund-raising for the charity and to inspire people to get involved and also to donate to this great cause.
We have worked closely with Tony Heffernan from the organisation on the project from the outset and Tony was delighted with the end product, “Splash & Printing.ie have simply blown us away with their energy & enthusiasm in supporting us all at Bee For Battens. In addition to providing us with a State of the Art website they are a one stop shop for all our promotional material. Our Humble Bee Logo has been redesigned into a fun & timeless Brand Identity. A Big Old Fashioned Thank You just does not sum up our appreciation of Splash & Printing.ie, as they continue to support our small Children’s Charity, and advise us in promoting our presence amongst the Social Media Sites & beyond. ”

The team at Splash/Printing.ie are delighted with another web site launch for OLM Executive Travel. OLM Executive Travel is the brain-child of Michael Guerin. Some 5 years ago, he envisaged creating a unique travel company that focused on providing high quality, customer-focused, executive travel for the discerning visitor to the Kingdom of Kerry and Ireland. His idea was hatched and in 2005 it became a reality.
To take the business forward and to bring his service to a wider audience Michael recently approached Spash with an idea for his website and following consultation with our web developers we were able to create what is now Michael’s brand new website - www.olmexecutivetravel.com.
Why not pay it a visit and let us know what you think? Maybe it will give you an idea for your own website - if it does that’s great. All you need to do to get a step closer to a new website is to do what Michael did - contact us to help make the dream a reality. Contact us on 1890 345678 or email sales@splash.ie
New Investment in Machinery & addition of 2 New Staff Members at Printing.ie
Posted in General by admin | Tags: business investment, Graphic design, large format printing, new jobs, new machinery, new staff, printing, printing requirements, printing.ie, web developmentWith all the doom and gloom in business today it is refreshing to hear a good news story relating to an Irish business. Printing.ie, based in the 4park Business Centre in Farranfore, Co. Kerry, has just announced the addition of 2 new full time staff members in its state of the art premises, as well as an investment of €50,000 in new printing machinery. Stephen O’Sullivan, the owner and Managing Director, has been in business for 14 years, and took the bold decision to invest in a new business premises at a time where most people were happy to hold what they had.
Today, 14 months after moving into his new premises in Farranfore, Stephen has had to take on 2 new full time staff to help with the expanding work load and client base that he has been able to grow both through working closely with local businesses but also by utilising his fantastic printing website www.printing.ie. Printing.ie is Ireland’s largest online shop for printing requirements, servicing a client base from all around Ireland. While most printers have their closing times and are off at weekends at www.printing.ie customers have the convenience of shopping securely online at a time and place that best suits them.
As well as the recent addition of 2 new full time staff, that now takes the number of employees to 10, Stephen has also invested in the latest printing technology to help meet the demands of an ever increasing client base. His recent investment totals €50,000, and will see production capacity at our Farranfore premises increase significantly.
The reason for all this at a time economic uncertainty is simple as Stephen explains;
“Our business is split across printing, graphic design, large format printing and website development. We have diversified over the years so when one sector goes down another sector may increase so we can concentrate on developing this sector further and we can react to the marketplace better with the mix of services we offer. Our new HP printer is the most environmentally friendly printing solution on the market. This is a huge selling point especially when we use recycled material we can offer a truly green product which is a big plus today.
We are looking to add a further 10 jobs in the next stage of our expansion in 2011. These jobs will be created in the website development and wide format printing sectors of the business.”
One of the latest websites launched by Printing.ie

Killarney Horse & Carriage Tours (www.killarneyhorseandcarriagetours.com) is one of the latest websites launched by Splash, the web development arm of Printing.ie.
Based in the beautiful town of Killarney the website is the result of the amalgamation of 14 individual Jaunting Car Tour operators, with over 3 generations and 350 years of experience behind them. They came to us with an idea of what they wanted and not only have we been able to design and provide them with business cards and brochures, but through our web company Splash we have been able to design and build a website to the high standards associated with all our web work.
Some of the people behind the website have had dealings with Printing.ie before and were very happy with the handling of the project from start to finish. Michael Sweetman said, “Personally it was not my first time dealing with Splash/Printing.ie, so I knew what to expect with regard to the level of service they provide. However, for some of my colleagues in Killarney Horse & Carriage Tours who had not done business with them previously, they were all delighted with the service provided from designing the site and getting it up and running. A top class service was provided with everyone very helpful and there were never any issues in getting someone if there were questions. It was great to have the benefit of their knowledge and experience as they were able to guide us along the way. We have nothing but the highest of praise for Stephen and his staff, and would have no hesitation in recommending them to other businesses.”
Great feedback from another happy customer. You too can be one of our very happy customers. All you have to do is contact us on 1890 345678 or email sales@printing.ie and we will be happy to discuss how we can help get your website off the ground.

I dug these images out of the archives. They are from when we opened our Killarney office in 2003. Jackie Lavin and Bill Cullen from TV3’s “The Apprentice” were kind enough to do the honours and perform the official opening. The extra space from this new office move allowed us to enter the wide format printing marketplace. Also pictured are Stephen and Sinead O’Sullivan, directors of the company.
